YouTube University- The news (Chapter 8)

Sparklez walked into the office nervously. The Dean sat in his chair, arms crossed, with a fuming expression on his face. On his right stood Sparklez' angry looking lecturer and on the left stood Sparklez' tutor, a sympathetic look showed on her face.
Sparklez looked at the floor trying not to make eye contact with the Dean.
“Good evening Dean Hurley.” Sparklez said, quietly.
“Look at me when you speak to me Boy!” The Dean growled.
“Sorry Sir,” Sparklez said quickly looking up at the Dean.
“And take them stupid sunglasses off! You are indoors for god sake!” He commanded
Without question Sparklez took off his red shades and placed them in his jeans pocket.
“What am I here for then?” Sparklez mumbled.
“What aren't you here for is the question!” the lecturer butted in.
The Dean quietened the lecturer and spoke; almost politely, “you said to us last year Sparklez that you would change. Be a better person. But that hasn't happened has it? You are still the same as ever.”
The lecturer spoke again, “Ok lets start the list shall we: well, the fire last year, the being late to lessons, the back chatting teachers, the not turning up to detentions, the pranks on teachers, the smoking in lessons, the binge drinking. The list goes on and on Sparklez! But this is a new level.”
“W..why?” Sparklez asked worriedly.
The Dean looked disappointedly at Sparklez, “we found these in your possession.”

The Dean brought a bottle of blue tablets from behind the desk and set it down.
Sparklez bit his lip and looked at the floor again.
“Drug taking is a criminal offence Sparklez you know that,” the Dean sighed.
“I know sir, I am sorry sir.” Sparklez mumbled.
“We could take you to prison for this Sparklez!”
“I know sir.”
“But we won't.”
Sparklez looked up.
“But this was your only life line Sparklez, this was the final straw.” The Dean started.
“I am sorry to say this but as from tomorrow you have been permanently expelled from YouTube University. You will be taking the first train back to California in the morning.”
Sparklez' jaw dropped open, “please sir....no.” He covered his mouth with his hands and stepped backwards.
“Sorry Sparklez but you had your chance.”
“You know what comes with expulsion from this Uni don't you?”
Sparklez nodded helplessly.
“As of when you leave these ground your YouTube channel will be permanently deactivated, you will never be known as CaptainSparklez again and you are forever banned from making YouTube videos.”
“Please have mercy sir,” Sparklez pleaded.
“Sorry Spar... I mean Jordan. But this is the only solution.”
Sparklez shuddered at the sound of his real name.
Sparklez sat down on one of the chairs that lined the Dean's office to sort out his thoughts.
“This can't be happening. This can't be happening,” Sparklez repeatedly whispered to himself.
Sparklez' tutor knelt down next to him to comfort him.
“You will be fine Sparklez. You are a smart lad. You just have made some bad life decisions sadly,” she explained.
“I won't be fine. I am fucked.” Sparklez moaned.
“Spark, language.”
“Sorry.”
Sparklez sighed and looked at his tutor.
“I am going to miss you Spark but the Dean's decision is final. You know that,” She continued.  
“I know,” Sparklez said, hopelessly.
“Its just all that work and hours I put into that channel for nothing.” Sparklez cried.
“I am sorry Spark I wish I could do something to help but everything is out of my power now. Once legal issues get involved, I can't interfere.”
“Its ok, I understand. Any advise?” Sparklez sighed.
“Say goodbye to your fans. They deserve to know what happened.”
Sparklez nodded understandingly.
Sparklez got up from the seat and slowly walked to the office door without saying another word.

Sparklez lay silently on his bed looking up at the ceiling. He thought about everything he is going to miss about this place; the parties, the laughs, the jokes, all of his friends: Nanners, Gassy, Chiled, Nfen, just to name a few and Ant, he would never forget Ant. Sparklez got a weird pain in his stomach from thinking about not being able to see Ant again. He was confused. This couldn't be normal, they haven't been friends that long.
Sparklez lay on his side and looked across the room towards his camera. He rolled off the bed and took his tutor's advise, to make one last video.
Sparklez set up the camera in front of his chair, started recording and spoke.    

Ant was sat at his computer desk looking through Twitter. He was alone at the moment. Skit was off doing something irrelevant. Ant refreshed his sub box and found out that Sparklez had uploaded a new video. A smiled set on his face but was quickly wiped off when he read the title.

Goodbye forever

“What is he talking about? Why is he saying goodbye?” Ant cried.
He played the video and listened to Sparklez', now upset and shaky, voice.

*Sigh* “What's going on dudes. I just wanted to make a quick update video, thing. Some of you have noticed that I have been a bit down over the past two days and well that was because I did a bad thing and Chelsea broke up with me. But that is not why I am making this video. I am making this video because something happened the other night and that placed me in a very bad situation. A situation that I want none of you to be stuck with. But because of that I have been expelled from YouTube university.

Ant's jaw dropped open, just like Sparklez' did.

That means I will be loosing all of my life here, all of my friends. But the biggest thing I will be losing is you guys. My account will be deactivated and I will be unable to post any more videos, ever.

Sparklez' eyes were welling up

I love all you dudes. The support you have given me is amazing. But I guess my time is up. Goodbye dudes. Have a nice life.

The video cut out and Ant looked shocked at the screen. “Sparklez! No!”
“This can't be true!” Ant screamed at the monitor.

Ant turned is computer off and hurried up the dorm block stairs towards Sparklez' room.
He heard sad, quiet humming to the tune of Fallen Kingdom inside the room.
Ant carefully knocked on the door and slowly opened it.
“Nanners, Gassy, Chilled. If that is you just please leave me alone.” Sparklez muttered packing his suitcase, not looking at who just opened the door.
“No Spark, its me.” Ant started.
Sparklez turned around to look at Ant. A slight smile tried to tug at his lip. But then he turned away.
“Come in Ant. I expect you saw the video then?” Sparklez asked.
“Yeah. Spark I don't want you to leave!” Ant cried.
“I am sorry Ant. I have to. The Dean's word it final.” Sparklez explained.
Ant's eyes turned watery and his lip quivered.
“Aww Ant come here,” Sparklez gestured for Ant to come and sit on the bed beside him.
Ant gladly accepted and sat down. “You can't leave! You are my friend and I will miss watching your videos.” Ant impatiently hugged Sparklez.
Sparklez just smiled and hugged him back.
“I know Ant. I am sorry.”

Ant let go of Sparklez, “sorry about that.”
Sparklez chuckled, “its ok Ant.”
“What did you laugh for?” Ant asked.
“Its just that our relationship has been really weird since we met,” Sparklez chuckled again.
“I know. But I like where it is at currently,” Ant smiled at Sparklez.
“I do too Ant. I do too.”
Sparklez gave a disappointed sigh again and looked into Ant's dark eyes.
“But I guess this is goodbye....forever,” Sparklez whispered.
Ant nodded his head slowly, his face showed sad expressions.
“But there is one more thing I most do before I leave.”
Ant got up and walked back a few paces, “ok Spark I will leave you to do want you want to do.”
“No Ant...stay,” Sparklez ordered in a polite way
Ant sat back down beside Sparklez.
Sparklez lay his hands carefully on top of Ant's.
Sparklez shot Ant a quick warm smile before slowly and softly kissing Ant on the lips.
Ant wanted to say something but he didn't want to break the moment. So he just let it happen and kissed Sparklez back.
After a few seconds Sparklez pulled away from the kiss and blinked slowly towards Ant.
Happy shock shown on Ant's face.
Sparklez explained himself. “I wanted to try it. Sober. And you know what, it was nice.”
Ant was speechless, “I...I...I...don't know what to say Spark.” He sighed with happiness, “it was wonderful.”
They both yawned in unison. “I think it is time for bed,” Sparklez said, rubbing his eye.
“But I don't want to leave!”
“Then don't. Stay here for the night. No one has to know.” Sparklez smiled.
Sparklez lay down in his bed and patted the sheets gesturing for Ant to join him.
Ant's cheeks went slightly pink as he lay next to Sparklez.
Ant snuggled his head onto Sparklez' chest.
Sparklez sighed happily. “Night Ant. Sleep well.”
“Night Spark” Ant muttered gleefully. Then he mouthed the words “Love you Spark” to himself before falling peacefully asleep on Sparklez' chest.
